With over 50 years of experience, Mr. Carey’s career has been dedicated to occupational safety and health from the beginning, when he began as an industrial hygienist for the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Resources.  He then transitioned his career to the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), where he achieved selection to the Senior Executive Service.  Mr. Carey transitioned to VP for Government and International affairs of the National Safety Council (NSC) where he led the NSC strategic direction in the worldwide safety and health community, establishing relationships between the NSC and national and international safety and health organizations.  Mr. Carey served as Project Enhancement Corporation's Vice President for Analytical Services, where he was the principal consultant to the AU Office of Analysis providing technical input and quality control to a wide variety of products and services. Additional support was provided to the Office of Fossil Energy, OSHA, NASA, and the Architect of the Capitol. 

Now, in his role as Partner with Centaur, Mr. Carey continues to provide significant support to the Department of Energy and DOL, OSHA in the areas of occupational safety and health, and analysis of safety trends and documentation.
