U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA):

Centaur’s safety and health services are unique because we heavily recruit former OSHA staff, especially OSHA senior managers and executives. Many of these subject matter experts (SMEs) helped develop and implement OSHA standards, enforcement directives and policies, giving them a unique depth of knowledge that can help you understand and deal with safety issues.

U.S. Department of Energy (DOE):

  • Office of Petroleum Reserves (OPR).

    • Provide support for environmental, safety, and health oversight and assistance to the Strategic Petroleum Reserve (SPR) and the Naval Petroleum Reserve (NPR).
    • Advise and assist the Deputy Director to assess, oversee, and improve, as appropriate, the safety and health program and culture of the OPR including the Project Management Office (PMO), and the prime management and operations (M&O) contractor and its subcontractors.
    • Assist the Deputy Director in responding to internal and external correspondence and reports relating to the SPR safety and health program, its contractors and the DOE Office of Cybersecurity, Energy Security, and Emergency Response (CESER).
    • Conduct annual Safety Oversight Management Assessment (SOMA) of the SPR PMO’s oversight of the M&O contractor safety and health requirements and its flow down to subcontractors.
  • Office of Environment, Health, Safety, and Security (EHSS). Provide technical expertise to assist in mission support, technical assistance, nuclear safety, and environment, safety and health as well as general and cross-cutting support.

U.S. Office of Personnel Management (OPM):

Centaur developed and provided Anti-Harassment Training to OPM’s entire federal workforce in support of meeting OPM internal policies and Equal Employment Opportunity Commission requirements. The training was delivered virtually but designed to be interactive by providing live chat functionality giving attendees the ability to ask questions during presentations. The training also included videos demonstrating examples of workplace harassment and practical exercises based on scenarios of workplace harassment tailored to OPM.

U.S Department of Treasury / Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC):

  • Centaur is providing comprehensive support of OCC’s Safety and Health Program and Safety and Health Management System (SHMS), developing and administering training and providing administrative support.

Office of Trade and Labor Affairs (OTLA) within the Bureau of International Labor Affairs (ILAB):

Centaur supports OTLA to ensure that U.S. trade agreements are fair for American workers and workers around the world. OTLA uses a range of tools – including negotiating strong labor provisions in trade agreements and preference programs, monitoring for compliance, enforcing trade agreement and preference program commitments, and sharing technical expertise – to ensure U.S. trade partners fulfill their promises and play by the rules, and that American workers are able to compete on a level playing field.

  • Centaur provides subject matter expert (SME) support regarding trade and labor issues in Mexico and Latin America.

  • Review trade-related interagency issues, such as Section 301 cases, administration and enforcement of the worker rights criteria of United States trade preference programs, and monitoring and enforcement of trade agreements.

  • We support the team responsible for monitoring and enforcement of the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA) trade agreement.

  • Review Mexican and Canadian´s laws and practices related to labor issues.

  • Assess labor problems and possible trade violations.

  • Support activities that ensure that both Mexico and Canada fulfill their USMCA labor obligations, in particular the innovative Rapid Response Mechanism that provides relief in instances where there is a denial of freedom of association and collective bargaining rights in Mexican workplaces.

U.S. Census Bureau:

U.S Department of Treasury / Community Development Financial Institutions (CDFI):

Centaur supports the CDFI Fund by providing support for event planning and workshop facilitation for their Equitable Recovery Program (ERP) technical assistance workshops conducted in different regions of the United States. Working closely with CDFI staff, Centaur provides event planning, execution, and post event activities. Centaur is also responsible for managing the event website, participant registration , and event speaker coordination as well as coordination with the venue and other vendors. Post event support includes the management of remaining supplies, resolution of outstanding venue obligations, and development of comprehensive post-event reports tailored to CDFI needs.

  • Centaur provides conference planning and support.
